Everyone Discipled, Everyone Discipling
Glendale Baptist Church
Kent says his experiences have taught him that the most important thing in the world is loving God by loving others. Go figure that Jesus came to the same conclusion over 2000 years ago without ever leaving his home country! (Matthew 22:36-40) Here at Glendale Baptist Church we are striving to love others one at a time through 1-on-1 discipling relationships. Kind of like what Jesus did too! If you'd like to learn more about what that looks like, drop by the church sometime and Kent will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
Kent and his wife Debbie feel incredibly privileged and blessed to call Glendale their home, and look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for this community in the future. Our church is working hard to be culturally relevant, socially sensitive friends and servants for our neighbors.
Kent Staton was born in Oklahoma, learned to talk in New York, was raised in Texas, went to Oklahoma University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and then really started to move around. Among other things, he was a youth pastor in London and Saudi Arabia, a teacher in California and Hawaii, an associate pastor in Oregon and Arizona, and a missionary in France and Mauritius.
